Interview with Kai Petainen
Take academic research, use anomolies that they find
Want a value story. Looks for:
Low P/E
Low price to book
Low price to cash flow
Want some growth, but not too much growth
Insiders buying stock
Institutions buying stock
Earnings quality
Want investor recognition so stock price will go up. Want stocks that growth funds, and value funds will want to own.
Don't look at charts
Don't look at news, or press releases or even what "widget" the company makes.
Be critical
There is more too life than money - go to the national parks

There's a lot of variance in Mike's portfolio. Looks like his portfolio was down 80% during The Great Recession. His performance the last two years has been amazing.

Purpose of this blog
The purpose of this blog about t10 bagger stocks - stocks that have the potential to increase 10x. The northwest region in particular has produced a number of companies that have done extremely well including AMZN, FFIV, MSFT, SBUX.
